Roxy girls make for a winning triple heat

This past weekend, three ROXY girls took the podium at the Aspen X-Games after showcasing mind-blowing performances, totalling two gold medals, one bronze and yet more strides for women in action sports.

KELLY SILDARU: TWO GOLD MEDALS IN 24H

Estonian skier Kelly Sildaru is now officially a legend in her own right: at just 17, she is now tied with snowboarder Shaun White and skateboarder Nyjah Huston for most X-Games win by a teenager, thus making her the only woman to reach that title.

It was an amazing weekend for the young ROXY Girl who snatched her 9th and 10th medal in the competition by claiming the gold in Ski Superpipe and gold in Slopestyle, a mere week after winning the gold in the Lausanne 2020 slopestyle event.

“I’m so stoked! 2 golds in less than 24 hours is unbelievable. I truly never thought it could be possible » - Kelly Sildaru

TESS LEDEUX TAKES THE GOLD IN BIG AIR

French ROXY Girl Tess Ledeux solidified her status as one of Big Air’s great champions by winning the gold medal with impeccable style, just months after her first X-Games gold medal in Aspen.

“Wowww I just won my first Gold Medal in Aspen, I can’t believe it! The level was so solid with the ladies in the final and I’m really proud I was able to succeed in all my tricks. I tried a new jump and got it first try, so I guess it was my lucky day! I really want to congratulate all the women competing in the X-Games, everyone did an incredible job!”  - Tess Ledeux

HARUNA MATSUMOTO BRINGS HOME THE BRONZE

Another big win for the ROXY family comes from Japan’s very own Haruna Matsumoto. The 26-old snowboarder took the bronze in the Snowboard Superpipe event on Saturday!
